R&B legend to visit Spokane
Rhythm and blues hitmaker Macy Gray will be performing in Spokane this July as part of her 25th On How Life Is anniversary tour.
The show will feature Gray performing songs from her debut album On How Life Is. The album featured the hit songs “I Try” and “Still”, sold millions, and earned Gray a Grammy Award. Gray will also sing hits from her other several studio albums, celebrating her lengthy career. In promotional material, Gray explained the extended tour as representing the importance of the songs to her.
The Spokane concert will also have meet-and-greet and VIP tour packages available. Spokane is one of the early stops on the North American leg of the tour, which was added following the success of 2024 European concerts. Gray will also be performing in Seattle, Vancouver and Boise. Album anniversary tours have become a popular way for musical artists to revisit their past hits, with original album artwork often featured in promotional graphic design.
