Racing festival to speed into Spokane

The Spokane Festival of Speed will be holding its 12th annual edition this June, highlighting racers and vehicles from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

The event kicks off with a Test & Tune event that gives racers a chance to try out the court and make last-minute adjustment to their vehicles. Following this will be a Race Car Tour, with participating vintage vehicles driving an exhibition on public roads for everyone to have a look. Drivers will be divided into groups based on their car type and age, including the popular Small Block class, and compete in multiple races along with qualifying time tests, to give everyone sufficient track time. All drivers will have qualified through local clubs and SOVREN licensing and orientation.

The race typically welcomes drivers from the west coast as well as inland areas like Idaho, Montana and Alberta. Spectators are also welcome to attend the races and the Car Corral Saturday event. Motorsport events like this often use memorable flyer printing and local broadcast advertising to help reach gearheads from the surrounding area. The competition will take place on the Qlipse’ Raceway governed by the Kalispel Tribe, with a track that is continually upgraded for better races.

The 2025 edition of the Spokane Festival of Speed will take place from June 6 to 8 at Qlipse’ Raceway Park.
