The biggest names in monster trucks will hit Spokane this November, putting on a weekend-long display of vehicular demolition.
Monster Jam will be holding four shows across three days in Spokane. Headlining the show will be the legendary truck Grave Digger, now driven by Matt Cody. Also featured in the line-up are other trucks with colourful names and skilled drivers, including El Toro Loco, Jurassic Attack, and the family-favourite Scooby Doo truck, driven by Brianna Mahon. Each show will feature racing between the trucks, with the winners of individual heats colliding for a championship at the end of the show. Modern shows also include a skills competition, with the giant trucks performing two-wheel tricks, as well as a freestyle competition to see who can perform the best stunt.
Each day will also feature lead-up events for ticketholders. These include a Monster Jam Pit Party, where attendees can meet the truck drivers and crews, and get up close and personal with the trucks themselves, including photo opportunities. Those arriving early at the arena can also watch the Monster Jam Trackside shows, which previews the competition, gives away prizes, and holds special introductions. Monster truck and other stunt shows often use methods like colourful poster printing and radio advertisement to attract an audience.
Monster Jam will come to the Spokane Arena from November 8 to 10, with a matinee show on the final day and evening shows on all days.
