Seattle campaign supports its feathered friends

A tiny bird has come to be a symbol of the meadow areas that surround Seattle, and throughout early April, a campaign will be running to help ensure their survival for generations to come.

Bird Connect Seattle runs a variety of programs throughout the year, and its Protect Meadow Habitat Spring Membership Drive will help to fund its work. Named in honor of the Savannah Sparrows and the meadows they need for survival, it is hoped the generosity of the donors will make a big impact.

Those who participate in the drive will be supporting the building of partnerships between land managers and local leaders to help restore meadow habitat and show them the benefits of doing so. They will also be funding studies and long-term data collection as well as public education. Both one-off and monthly donations will be welcome, large or small.

A membership or domination drive often counts on effective marketing materials for success. A poster printing company will be happy to help, and can supply a range of budget-friendly options that will not take a big financial bite from the monies raised.

Birds Connect Seattle is running its Spring Membership Drive from April 3 to 17. Everyone is encouraged to visit its website and find out how they can lend a helping hand to the area’s feathered friends.
