Seattle dinner tips hat to pollinators

As Seattle gears up for another harvest season, one of its institutions will be serving a supper that honors the important role pollinators play in the human food system.

The annual UW Farm Harvest Dinner will showcase locally grown agricultural products. Taking place under the open sky, the menu will draw inspiration from bees, and the guest chef for the occasion will be Sheldon Raju.

The seated meal will be served to the crowd family style, and signature cocktails featuring private label Arboretum Gin supplied by Lodgepole Distilling will be provided. Welcome appetizers will be on the menu as well, and each ticketholder will receive their dinner as well as two drink tickets, their welcome beverages, and hors d'oeuvres. Any seating requests need to be submitted by no later than September 12. Both meat and vegetarian dishes will be available, and a special Dahlia Bouquet Experience add-on is on offer.

A special meal may include custom designed Drinkware or other Corporate Gifts for the guests to keep as a souvenir of the experience. A printing services company can offer a wide range of options for these mementos.

The 2025 UW Farm Harvest Dinner will celebrate the role pollinators play in putting food on the table on Thursday, September 18, with guests welcomed from 5:00 pm. It will be on offer at 3501 NE 41st Street.
