Seattle session crafts ceramic trees

A hands-on crafting class has been scheduled in Seattle, and those who sign up will be making a project that may become a treasured family keepsake.

Ceramics workshop venue Potterings has set the date for a class making holiday luminary trees out of clay. Each will be built by hand and can be displayed on tabletops or in windowsills. All materials needed will be provided.

The workshop is suited to both beginners and experienced crafters, and complete instruction will be supplied. The light for each luminary will be provided by a candle, and everyone will roll the slabs, carve the cutouts, and choose the glaze they wish to use. The marks may choose to keep their project for themselves or gift it to someone special, and the class size will be kept small so each participant can receive individualized attention. Snacks and drinks are welcome. Tickets start at $53.11

Taking part in a crafting class provides a runway for someone new to a hobby to get their feet wet. A flyer printing company can supply organizers with an assortment of marketing options that come with a potentially healthy return on investment.

This festive and fun way to learn the basics of crafting with ceramics will run from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. The shop is at 3400 Harbor Avenue Southwest.
