Seattle class prepares fresh pasta

Preparing tasty, fresh pasta in the home kitchen may be easier than one might think, and a Seattle culinary session will teach how to make classic ravioli.

The in person cookery class planned for Sip House will be making pasta from scratch, and the ingredients used will be common pantry staples. Two classic style sauces are also on the menu, and everyone is welcome to BYOB if they wish.

The facilitator for the activity will be Chef Jason, and he will teach how to blend, roll and hand cut the ravioli, and both basil marinara and pesto Alfredo sauces will be crafted. The art of plating the dish will also be on the agenda, and a review of choosing ingredients and what tools to use will be included. The recipe will be vegetarian friendly, and no shellfish, nuts or fish will be used. The session has a run time of two hours.

Learning a new culinary technique can be fun, especially when done with a group. Recipe cards, safety waivers, printed aprons and other materials for a cookery class can all be prepared by Print shops that socialize in crafting Promotional Products.

Sip House, which can be found at 5001 Brooklyn Avenue in Northeast Seattle, has organized this in-person class for August 14th. Tickets to join the fun are $64.80 each.
