A wine and food-tasting experience will be returning to Richland in July at the Barnard Griffin Winery.
The Gazpacho & Wine Pairing is an event where guests can try three different combinations of cold soups and reserve wines from the venue. The activity was originally held in January and has been brought back due to its popularity. There will be three different tasting sessions offered at the winery. The wine and soup pairing is open to the general public, though those who are part of the company’s wine club will receive a discount on their ticket cost.
The Barnard Griffin Winery was co-founded by Rob Griffin and Deborah Barnard in 1983. The business is a family operation that has vineyards in several locations, including the Yakima Valley, Columbia Gorge, and White Bluffs. Many activities are held by the winery, such as wine club parties and group trips to other countries. People can become part of the company’s Reserve Wine Club for benefits like discounts on wine and case purchases.
The tasting event will be held from Friday, July 14th to Sunday, July 16th. The program costs $25 for the general public, and members of the Barnard Griffin Winery can purchase tickets for $20. Businesses that put together experiences like this may use flyer printing to attract more participants to their programs.
