Art festival to round out July in Richland

The Art in the Park Festival is returning to Richland at the end of the month. The popular festival spans two days and sees more than 78,000 people each year.

More than 300 artists from all over the country are expected to travel to the event this year. Some of the premier artists include A Touch of Autumn, Rusty Birds, and Sibbet Studio. Artists who participate in festivals like this often create their own Logo Design to stand out.

In addition to visual art, the festival offers musical art. The STCU Stage will host several local performers during the event, including Bourbon & Bellows, Dumpster Joe, and Maddysen Hope.

Food trucks will be available in several places throughout the event. The stage side will host Raspados Garcia, 3 Amigos, and Rollin Ice Cream Truck. Lee Boulevard's food truck options include 13 Bones Urban BBQ, Acapulo Pina Coladas, and Nana's Kitchen. On the playground side, attendees will find Kettle Corn Factory and Ethos.

This festival relies on volunteers to be a success, and those who are interested in helping out can fill out a volunteer application on the festival's website.

The Art Park Festival is happening next Friday, July 24-25 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is hosted by Howard Amon Park, located at 500 Amon Park Drive in Richland. This is a free event, but attendees should plan to bring enough money to purchase from the artists.
