Richland residents will have an exciting way to welcome the Spring equinox this year, as a Pilates class is being held at a local winery.
The Spring Equinox Pilates course is gearing up to help Richland residents get vertical and stay active this year, providing a refreshing morning of reflection, connection, and movement. The class will be led by CBRC Pilates instructor Vicki Jordheim, and it will challenge participants to improve their body strength while working from an upright position.
Jordheim’s class session will borrow several classic tenets of Pilates, but will implement them from both a standing and sitting position to help participants improve their strength and balance. Modifications can be provided to make the session more accessible, and chairs will be provided. Poster printing can be an effective way to generate printed materials to place around the community in high-traffic areas, building awareness and increasing attendance.
After the Pilates session ends, students can head to dB Studios to participate in a glass workshop where they can create a suncatcher. The morning will end at the Barnard Griffin Winery, providing a relaxed social setting to unwind with like-minded individuals.
The equinox event will start at CBRC Health and Fitness in Richland on Saturday, March 21st, at 10:00 AM. All participants must be 21 or older. Tickets can be purchased online for $53 per guest.
