Fondue workshop brings fine flavor to Richland
Richland residents with a taste for the finer things will want to save space in the agenda for next month, as a workshop will teach the basics of making fondue.
The Fondue Making Class at Barnard Griffin has opened enrollment to interested parties seeking the cozy, melty goodness of fondue and wishing to learn the steps required to make it at home. Students will learn all of the steps to make fondue during the class session before getting to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
The interactive class will begin with a lecture session before moving on to the hands-on aspects of making fondue. The instructor will also share the history of fondue before using two fondue burners to provide demonstrations.
Students will be invited to come up to the burners and stir, sprinkle, and sample their creations. Brochure printing is a powerful tool for workshop organizers to use when sharing information with students, listing recipes and instructions in one convenient document.
After the learning portion of class ends, students will enjoy their portion of fresh fondue, enjoying the wonder of melted cheese. They will also receive a take-home recipe to replicate what they have learned.
The workshop will be held at Barnard Griffin Winery in Richland and will begin at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 29th. Tickets cost $50 for wine club members and $55 for non-members online.
