Cooking course showcases Indian flavor in Richland
Food enthusiasts and Richland residents with a passion for cooking will want to save the date, as a cooking class with a focus on Indian cuisine is visiting town.
The Fast and Curryous Cooking Class: Biryani Feast is getting ready to begin in a few weeks, giving Richland residents the chance to prepare the workshop’s recipes at home for friends and family. The class will be a hands-on learning experience, and participants will make a Chicken Biryani entree with traditional Indian sides.
The dish is one of India’s most iconic, and it will be paired with a curated wine option to add a dash of refreshment with each bite. Students will learn to make the meal from scratch, and each will receive a full complimentary bottle of wine to take home. Print shops are an excellent resource for creating recipe resources that students can take home for future use at workshops.
In addition to Chicken Biryani, participants will learn to make crisp papadum, a fresh cilantro chutney, and a cooling raita to reset the taste buds. All ingredients and cooking equipment are included in the class’s cost. Spots are limited in the class.
Market Vineyards in Richland will be the host site for the culinary experience, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 6th, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Tickets cost $135 per person online.
