An immersive cooking workshop is planning to bring the flavor of the Mediterranean to Richland this April, and area foodies and cooking enthusiasts are encouraged to join the session.
The Olive Oil Uncovered cooking session, A Mediterranean Focaccia Baking Class (With Wine), has opened online enrollment ahead of its upcoming gathering with the goal of teaching new skills and recipes to attendees. Participants will learn how to utilize olive oil the traditional way, through both food and wine.
Participants will receive an unbaked loaf of focaccia to finish making at home, along with a complimentary bottle of wine. The focaccia will be used as the teaching tool in the cooking class. Students will start the workshop by learning how to make a quality olive oil before making the unbaked focaccia loaf to bake at home. Printing services can provide documents featuring instructions, ingredient lists, and other useful information for guests at such events.
Students are encouraged to enjoy sipping a glass of wine while in the class. The purpose of the session beyond learning a new cuisine is to focus on slowing down and learning through experiences with a Mediterranean flair.
Market Vineyards in Richland has announced that it will be hosting the cooking class, which starts at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 11th. Enrollment is open online, and tickets are $124.56 per student.
