Richland to show compassion at summer float fest

The Great Columbia Float Fest will be coming to Richland this July to help support the charitable iMPACT! Compassion Center.

The Great Columbia Float Fest is a beautiful event where the community comes together to watch a floating parade of decorated boats. The floats featured in the festival have been created by both individuals and corporations. There will be awards given out for different categories, including the ugliest, best theme, and the most recyclable. The organizers for the event have teamed up with Benton Franklin Dive and Rescue and other protective groups to ensure the festival is safe.

iMPACT! Compassion Center is a facility that offers much-needed assistance to members of the community. The non-profit group has several programs that benefit people, such as creating donation Bags for the homeless, providing basic essentials for families struggling financially, and hosting educational workshops. Poster printing services can help organizations like this design and distribute ads that generate more awareness for their causes.

The Great Columbia Float Fest will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. The parade will begin at Leslie Grover Park and will end at Howard Amon Park. Tickets to the event will cost $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $15 for kids aged 5 to 17. Companies that want to place a float in the festival can pay $300.
