Richland to hold fundraising carnival

The Richland Community Center will be holding a carnival this March to raise money towards creating more programs for those impacted by Parkinson’s Disease.

The Tri-Cities Carnival is a fundraiser that welcomes families to enjoy themselves while providing support to Parkinson’s-related projects. The event is also hosted by the Richland Seniors Association and Rock Steady Boxing Tri-Cities WA. There will be carnival games during the festival, in addition to prizes, giveaways, and free entertainment. Groups that organize charitable activities such as this can use flyer printing services to inform the public about the event.

Rock Steady Boxing Tri-Cities WA is one of the programs created to help those with Parkinson’s. The project was founded in 2018 and uses the sport of boxing to keep people moving and build endurance. It is just one of many programs created by the Tri-Cities Parkinson’s Project, an organization that uses physical activities like bowling, hiking, and singing to provide an active community for people affected by the disease.

The Tri-Cities Carnival will be held on Friday, March 6th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. There is no cost to enter the charitable event. Anyone who would like to support the Tri-Cities Parkinson’s Project can donate on their website. Money that is given to the group will go towards creating a supportive environment to provide Parkinson’s patients with a higher quality of life.
