Updated park in Renton now open to public

Tiffany Park in Renton has been renovated and is now open.

The park is at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue SE and Lake Youngs Way SE and spans seven acres. The renovations include the second mini-pitch futsal court in Renton as well as a sports court, slides, activity panels, and climbing ladders.

There are synthetic materials that are all-weather and provide low skin abrasion, wet traction, and shock absorption on the sports court. The court was resurfaced and has two basketball hoops and two mini-soccer goals. There is an art display on the backboards of each hoop that was created by students from the Tiffany Park Elementary School.

More information about such updates and renovations is often made available with flyer printing.

Tiffany Park has been the heart of activities in the neighborhood for many years such that including the versatile court and min-pitch field will further increase the power of play and the enjoyment of recreation in the neighborhood. Armondo Pavone, mayor of Renton, said that it is very important to invest in the city’s parks as such investments are for the children, their future, and their health.

The Seattle Sounders RAVE Foundation, the Seattle Storm, and the Parks and Recreation Department of the city of Renton made the community sports facility possible with additional donations from Providence Swedish and Symetra.
