Renton will be holding a Halloween Costume Swap later this month.
This annual event will be held at the Highlands Neighborhood Center on Edmonds Avenue NE. There will be hundreds of gently used costumes and accessories along with Halloween treasures for people of all ages. Attendees should be able to find something fun at this event, whether they want to add a finishing touch to their costume for this year or want a completely new look.
Participants need not donate a costume, but those who do will help ensure there will be something for everyone and play their part in making the event successful.
People can donate their gently used and clean Halloween accessories and costumes up until Friday, September 25. Donation locations are Renton City Hall on South Grady Way, the Highlands Neighborhood Center, and the Renton Community Center on Maple Valley Highway. Poster printing can be used to promote such events and explain how to participate in them.
This event is hosted by the City of Renton Public Works Sustainability and the Renton Municipal Arts Commission (RMAC). RMAC was created to connect residents with the culture and art of the city, be a resource for art information, and support art education at all levels.
The Costume Swap will take place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 26.
