This month the city of Renton will be hosting a holiday craft bazaar and two Halloween-related events.
The Renton Community Center will be the host for a Senior Holiday Craft Bazaar featuring handcrafted gifts, art, and more created by those who are 50 years of age and older and who live in Renton and surrounding communities. This will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday October 24.
An afternoon of fun at a Halloween Party can be enjoyed by the community starting with Downtown Trick-or-Treating, followed by many activities at Legacy Square that will include games, treats, and prizes; zombie makeup and a photo booth; a costume contest for people of all ages; vendors from the community; and live entertainment and learning a mix of iconic dances. This will be on Saturday October 24 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Truck or Treat will be held at the Renton Community Center. From 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. there will be a Sensory-Friendly Session for those who prefer an environment with less stimulation. There will be treats, themed displays, trucks, and activities. This will be followed by the Walk-through Spectacular from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. featuring fun opportunities for photos and Halloween music. There will be festivities for both events both indoors and outdoors on Friday October 30.
Such seasonal and festive events and activities can be promoted throughout a community and neighboring towns with poster printing.
