Renton River Days will be coming to the city later this week.
This festival begins at Liberty Park and is held across multiple locations, including the Renton Community Center and Cedar River Park, all of which are linked by the Houser Way corridor. Additional locations include Legacy Square, Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park, and Talbot Hill Reservoir Park Pickleball Courts for a pickleball tournament.
Renton River Days is free and open to the public. Throughout the festival there will be a summer craft bazaar showcasing local makers and artists, free entertainment, community experiences, and family activities.
A Senior Picnic Day will be held at the Renton Community Center prior to the opening of the festival. The next day, which is Opening Day, will feature a concert by The Kennydales at 7:30 pm followed by a drone show at 9:30 pm. These will take place at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park and Legacy Square.
On the Saturday there will be food trucks, a parade, an activity zone, a youth circus, live music, and River Nights at Legacy Square, which is a new event. Sunday will serve up many of the same activities as Saturday with the addition of a Duck Derby.
Local Print shops can contribute to such events by printing Brochures and Flyers with more details about activities, times, and locations of special events.
This festival will run from this Thursday, July 23 through Sunday, July 26.
