A new business incubator facility for different food cuisine from emerging entrepreneurs in South King County will be featuring a special lunch next month.
Mamá Tila Catering from Renton will be hosting an authentic Mexican lunch, which is part of the fundraising series of Food Innovation Network (FIN). Educational institutions, local organizations, and government are part of FIN and work to revitalize the food system in South King County by creating programs for health, wealth, and success.
This is one of the lunches that will endeavor to raise funds for the new Tukwila Village Food Hall, which is scheduled to be open in the spring of next year. This hall will have retail sales of food, a large commercial kitchen, and a dining area for the public. The project has a cost of $850,000 and the food incubators of FIN are contributing their culinary talents to raise funds for this project.
Events such as this one often turn to flyer printing to promote their fundraising efforts.
Mamá Tila Catering will be holding its lunch on Friday, December 6 at 11:00 am at Boon Boona Coffee in Renton. Two weeks later, Monique’s Hot Kitchen will be hosting a lunch of all-natural Kenyan cuisine at the same time. Tickets are $15 in advance and on the day of the event.
