Vestory is about to present a new science behind retirement in Renton, Washington.
The presenter will be KOMO’s Don McDonald who hosts Talking Real Money. McDonald believes that much of the advice going around about retirement is detrimental, and is designed to help salespeople more than the retired individual.
Instead, McDonald believes that it is essential to create investment portfolios that follow evidence-based science. In the Science of Retirement class, McDonald will be demonstrating how to create portfolios without relying on expensive annuities. With all such information, this is one event for which brochure printing orders are likely.
McDonald has been an investor for approximately 30 years. He has been using his radio talk show, ‘The Don McDonald Show’ to help people to better manage their money for almost as long. He works with PBS television personality Tom Cock, who has published business Journals, managed, and owned radio stations for several years.
The Science of Retirement class will be taking place at the Hilton Garden Inn-Renton on September 15 from 8:30 am to 11:00 am. Pre-sale tickets are $10 each, can be purchased through Eventbrite, and can be refunded up to one day before the event. They are $15 at the door.
