Topgolf will be breaking ground on a new multi-level entertainment complex in Renton. It will be located on property next to The Landing in Renton and is expected to be a state-of-of-the art venue that will be the first of its kind in the state.
The complex will be three stories high and offer spaces for events, a bar, and restaurant as well as 102 outdoor hitting bays. There will also be a large skylit atrium, with a large video wall, seating, and space for yard games. The plan is to hire over 500 people for the running of the facility. Such job opportunities are often advertised throughout a city and the surrounding area with flyer printing.
Armando Pavone, mayor of Renton, expressed his excitement about this development for the Renton community. He said that he is very much looking forward to the groundbreaking and to the completion of the venue. He added that having Topgolf at The Landing serve as another source of entertainment for those who visit the area frequently.
Chief development officer for Topgolf, Chris Callaway, said that he is thrilled about starting the Topgolf Renton-Seattle project and is also looking forward to its completion and unveiling. Callaway added that this development will enhance the south end of Lake Washington as it will become an anchor for the entertainment district in Renton.
The complex is expected to be opened sometime next year.
