The annual community celebration and family festival, Renton River Days, will be returning next month featuring three days of activities and events that will be family oriented.
Prior to the celebration there will be a barbeque picnic lunch and “The King of Rock and Roll,” a special guest entertainer at the Don Persson Senior Activity Center. The Renton Lions Club will host a Pancake Breakfast the next day. Volkssport Interlaken Trailblazers will be hosting Walks of 5K and 10K on the Cedar River Trail. Following this, a parade will take place on S. 3rd Street from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Entertainment will also be featured throughout the city during the festivities.
There will be an Activity Zone on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, and on Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Both free and fee-based activities will be available, the latter of which will require a wristband.
A Summer Bazaar will be held indoors at the Renton Community Center with vendors and artisans selling their goods and products. There will also be community booths featuring non-profit organizations representing senior populations, children, and families. This is an ideal opportunity for local Print shops to assist with creating Flyers and Brochures with more information about such organizations.
Renton River Days will take place from Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23.
