Logan McGregor of the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services will be hosting the State Emergency Reparation Technical Assistance Station in a couple of weeks’ time.
It will be a comprehensive emergency preparedness with audiences such as the American Red Cross and Emergency Support Function leads. It means that it will involve a lot of information, no doubt keeping Print shops busy.
The conference will start with a forum for networking and preparation of the State Emergency Reparation Plan (SERP). There will be breakout sessions from 9:30 am to 10:00 am covering topics such as emergency assistance with housing and human services. After that, there will be four 15-minute sessions covering topics such as overseas evacuation and border protection. It will be followed by lunch break from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm.
The lunch period will be followed by two 30-minute sessions, and then afternoon break-out sessions. The latter will be covering topics such as services available at the Reparation Center and the Joint Information System. There will be a short break, a 30-minute question-and-answer session, a 30-minute review and closing, and then the optional interstate planning discussion.
The Reparation is scheduled to take place at the King Country RCECC on Friday, November 16, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Registration is free and can be made on Eventbrite.
