The annual BrickCon Convention will be coming to the Seattle Exhibition Hall in October.
The exhibition part of the convention is where adult LEGO hobbyists, known as Builders or AFOLs, from across the country and around the world, display their models and LEGO creations they have created in the past year. These models range from small designs that are easily recognizable to larger designs with tens of thousands of pieces that show remarkable visions or compete scenes. Residents of Renton will want to see the many designs these builders have created.
Attendees of the exhibition will have the chance to talk with the participants about their designs and vote for their favorite one, earning the winner the People’s Choice Award. They will also be able to build their own creations at the Building Zone with LEGO parts which will then go on display.
Attendees will also be able to purchase custom, past, and current LEGO sets at the Brick Bazaar. There will also be jewelry and tee-shirts for sale as well as storage and play accessories. Vendors often use business card printing for such events so attendees can pick up Business Cards when looking to make additional purchases after such exhibitions.
The exhibition will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday October 5th and Sunday October 6th with staggered entrance times to allow for greater enjoyment of the event.
