Bigfoot continues to stalk Lacey

Bigfoot, aka sasquatch, is a staple of the legends of the Pacific Northwest, and is extremely popular, as shown by the response to an exhibit in Lacey.

The Lacey Museum put “Sasquatch Revealed,” a traveling exhibit, on display, and received such a huge response that the facility has decided to extend the run. The exhibit is split, with part of the artifacts on display at city hall, and the rest at the museum. Brochure printing can be used to create pamphlets describing items in exhibits like this.

The exhibit was put together by Christopher Murphy, a Canadian who is an expert on sasquatch. His is the biggest collection of artwork and artifacts centered on sasquatch ever assembled. The creature has been an important part of the culture of Native peoples for centuries, but recently the interest has spread, as non-Natives have reported seeing the beasts.

Among the items on exhibit at the museum are skull replicas, casts of footprints, and accounts compiled by Native Americans. At city hall, the resources include sasquatch hair, and paintings of sasquatch and yeti.

The Lacey Museum is returning to its regular hours, and will be open from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays; and from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm on Saturdays. City hall hours are from 8.00 am until 5.00 pm weekdays. The building is on College Street SE, and the exhibit is now running until this Sunday, September 29.
