Fun fair comes to Lacey

Two full days of fun are on the schedule in Lacey.

The Lacey Spring Fun Fair brings an inflatable obstacle course, swings, the circus train, the Giant Slide, pony rides, other inflatables, and more, including a car show. It also brings live entertainment on both the Main Stage and the Pavilion Stage on both days. Performers on the Main Stage include The RF’s Band, the Touch of Class Big Band, and the Timberline High School Jazz Band as well as Captain Patch and the American Legion Band. Pavilion stage events include performances by the Kinetic Dance Academy, the Eldon Scottish Highland Dance Academy, the South Bay Choir, Mas Uda Daners, and South Sound Dance.

An entire section of the event is the S.T.E.A.M. Fair, where activities and booths will allow people of all ages to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math. A similar section is planned for youngsters. Kids’ World offers free entertainment, games, crafts, and more designed especially for children. Local family-focused businesses who would like to offer a free activity are invited to apply to take part.

The fair is set for May 16, from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm; and May 17, from 11.00 am until 5.00 pm. Everything except the products offered by the vendors is free, including admission, games, rides, activities, and live entertainment. Vendors will set their own prices for their items. When they plan events like this, organizers can use banner printing to create themed decorations for them.
