The summer concert series are ending in Lacey, but there are still performances to enjoy.
The Children’s Entertainment shows bring Eric Ode to the city, followed by Angel Ocasio. Ode is a children’s singer and songwriter, poet, and author, who has designed programs especially for children. His shows include puppets, poetry, skits, and stories. Angel Ocasio is a physical comedian who blends magic with silly antics and invites the audience to participate in his shows.
The Noon Tunes series ends with appearances by Platinum Soul, followed the next week by Lindsay Quella Kara. Platinum Soul comprises talented musicians who will bring the funk and soul and get audiences on their feet. Lindsay Quella Kara is an independent music artist now collaborating with others in Portland studios. In her songs she blends bits of soul and pop with roots, folk, and Americana.
The last event is the Music and Movies category. The film is “Zootopia,” and the music will be provided by 13 Till Midnight, a tribute band for Taylor Swift. Using Posters from Print shops, series organizers can list the days and times of events like this.
Eric Ode appears August 4, and Angel Ocasio will be on deck on August 11, both shows at 6.30 pm. Platinum Soul performs on August 5 at 12.00 pm, and Lindsay Quella Kara appears August 12 at noon. The music and movies offering is set for August 7 at 7.00 pm. All the concerts take place in Huntamer Park.
