Issaquah combines fine art with fine vintages

A popular event is returning to Issaquah to welcome spring.

The Downtown Issaquah Association has announced the upcoming Downtown Issaquah Spring Wine & Art Walk. The event gives participants the chance to stroll through the city’s Olde Town while they visit participating businesses to sample the vintages being poured by their partnering wineries. As they walk, they can stop at galleries and shops in Olde Town, where local artists display their works. When events are scheduled for a local area, organizers can use flyer printing to create a handout listing participating businesses – a cost-effective measure that will enhance the experience.

Participants for this year are still being finalized, but a look at the 2025 event gives an idea of what to expect now. Last year, participants visited the Frances Gaudette Theatre, which is the Village Theatre’s Main Stage, where Momento Cellars and Sama Cellars poured their wines; and Nota Bene Cellars poured wine at Chicago Pastrami.

The ArtWalk is scheduled for Friday, April 24, from 6.00 pm until 9.00 pm. There are two places to check in – the Big Picture at 35 Sunset Way, and the Historic Shell Station at 232 Front Street North. Tickets, which include 10 tokens for tasting, are $45 each, or $35 for those who buy tickets early. Glasses will be provided, or participants may bring their own. Those taking part must be at least 21 years of age and will need to provide ID, and pets are not allowed.
