Music planned throughout Issaquah

Issaquah is planning a party that will encompass the whole city.

Make Music Day is coming, and the event will turn the whole city into a jam session. Stages will be set up in public spaces, parks, and downtown streets, and musicians will perform there for free all day, turning downtown into a gigantic stage.

People who come downtown often spend time visiting local shops and restaurants, helping to boost the local economy. Events like this typify Issaquah, a city that celebrates creativity and diversity.

The stages will be located at the Train Depot, the Fish Hatchery, Stage 96, The Library, La Piazza, Las Margaritas, the Shell Station, and Eastside Guitar Star & Ukulele. Performers at the Train Depot include the Issaquah Philharmonic String Ensemble, and the Rovin’ Fiddlers.

The Fish Hatchery will host the Issaquah Singers, Chad Guse on Keys, Musical Flutes and others, while Tiger Mountain Drumming and Tiger Mountain Surprise will be at The Library. Swingtime will be at Stage 96, while La Piazza will be the venue for Gorilla Warfare, In Case of Emergency, and others.

Rick Fogel and more will be at Las Margaritas, and The Shell Station will host Graham O’Keefe, the Rufkut group, and more, while The Stones will be at Eastside Guitar Star & Ukulele.

Make Music is June 21, from 4.00 pm until 8.00 pm. Events like this can benefit if organizers use poster printing to create advertising.
