An event is coming up in Issaquah that combines two healthy activities: hiking and yoga.
Run 2 Be Fit, LLC, is the organizer of the event. The corporation is a Pacific Northwest coaching and race company that offers a wide range of activities promoting fitness for people of all ages.
The upcoming event will have participants hike to a location, and then participate in a yoga session in the fresh air. The hike will be up the Poo Poo Point - Chirico Trail. The trail leads through steep, forested hillsides and offers stunning views. Once at the top on a clear day, hikers have an unobstructed view of Mt. Rainier. Organizers of this type of event can use flyer printing to create maps for participants.
Participants are asked to bring a light snack, water, hiking gear, and a yoga mat. They are also asked to wear a mask when it becomes impossible to maintain a six-foot distance. Since hikers do have to maintain their distance, only limited spots are available, and people should register early. Previous events sold out quickly.
The check-in time is 8:00 am on June 26. Participants will hike to the top as a group, which will take approximately 90 minutes. Anyone who anticipates taking longer is asked to text 425-610-9311 to make arrangements for assistance. Once at the top, hikers will enjoy a rejuvenating and relaxing yoga class open to everyone regardless of their experience.
