An upcoming event in Aberdeen will offer a fantastic experience to attendees.
The 2024 Rain Glow Festival is a celebration of art, light, and music. Artists are working to create nine separate “glow worlds,” each with a different theme, for people to enjoy. The main gate to the festival is at Market and K Street, where people can pick up their wristbands.
From there, they can stroll the streets and alleys of the city where they will find nine different environments, each created by a different team. They will be able to enjoy original art and amazing costumes, many illuminated. Glow sticks, glow-in-the-dark paint, candles, black light, and other lighting effects will be the main draw of the evening, which is organized by the Aberdeen Art Center.
Everyone is encouraged to come in costume, as a contest to find the “Best Illuminated Costume” is scheduled. Live music is also on the menu, with bands playing rock, hip-hop, or Mexican music giving listeners a choice.
No festival is complete without vendors, and Rain Glow encourages sellers to bring items that will go along with the theme of the evening. This means shoppers will be able to find lighted artworks, glow toys, candles, and similar goods. Food vendors will be on hand as well.
The 2024 Rain Glow Festival is scheduled for July 27 throughout Aberdeen’s downtown. Organizers of events like this will often use poster printing to create advertising for them.
