Aberdeen welcomes hometown artist

A vocalist who has been building a following by touring the country is returning to Aberdeen for one performance.

Ericka Corban is a graduate of Grays Harbor College, and last appeared locally in 2022, when she performed at the Bishop Center. She is returning to that venue again, after traveling with her family, appearing in every one of the 50 states. She has used social media to document her travels.

Ericka Corban is not only a touring songwriter and singer, but she is also a published author and appeared in Season 12 of “The Voice.” Her voice has been described as soulful and warm, successfully blending elements of folk, pop, and country into songs that resonate with audiences.

Corban, her husband, and their five children travel the United States full time, performing in spaces of all kinds, from schools and listening rooms to high-end venues. Whether she is performing a favorite song, one of her own compositions, or reading one of her Books aloud, she prides authenticity as a primary driver of her work.

Bette and Bruce Worth are sponsoring the show, which will be at the Bishop Center for the Performing Arts on October 3. Tickets are $20 for adults; $17 for area students, military personnel, and seniors; $10 for youth 12 years of age and younger; and GHC students will enjoy free admission. When they plan performances like this, organizers can create advertisements for them using poster printing.
