People who enjoy crafts or who are looking for a little something different this year have an opportunity to join a fun event in Aberdeen.
Paint – Laugh – Repeat is the organizer of an upcoming workshop that will give attendees the chance to make either two Christmas ornaments or one Christmas wreath. This event has proved to be so popular that the organizer has extended it to two days.
The class will be held at the Aberdeen Art Center. Instructor Marshelle Backus will guide participants as they decorate wreaths and ornaments, which they will be able to choose from an assortment at the center that includes everything from battery-lit jumbo globes to more modest items.
The gallery will be open during the event, and participants will have fun browsing the artworks there, which will be on sale. The gallery will also be turned into a refreshment center for the evening. Planners who create events like these can use flyer printing to create instruction handouts for attendees.
The fee for the class is $40 and all craft supplies will be provided. It will be on December 10 and December 17, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on both of these Saturday. The class is limited to those 18 years of age and older, although children from 13 through 17 may attend if they are with a parent who is taking the class. No guests will be allowed.
