Comedy to raise laughs in Aberdeen

People who love to laugh should make plans to get to Messy Jessy’s Bar and Grill for an upcoming event.

Jeremiah Hughes will host some of the region’s best funny people at a comedy night. The artists include Hughes himself, who is based in Tacoma. Also on the bill are Hagan Murphy and Brock Terrano, with Adam Tiller as the headliner.

Tiller, a podcast host and stand-up comedian, is based in Everett, Washington. He appears regularly at Club Comedy, Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club, the Tacoma Comedy Club, and Laughs Comedy Club. He made it to the semifinals of Nate Jackson’s “Funniest MF” Competition and took part in the “World Series of Comedy.” He has opened for headliners like Dusty Slay, Kyle Kinane, and Zolta Kaszas.

Jeremiah Hughes is a native of Aberdeen and is the host of the “Wired and Weird” podcast. He also does pro-wrestling commentary and is described as having a “lovably obnoxious personality.”

Hagan Murphy is an up-and-coming comedian who has appeared on Cheri Hardman’s “Heavy Petting” podcast, talking about her pets and her career.

Brock Terrano, the “Rockstar of Comedy,” appears at comedy clubs throughout the Pacific Northwest, often with sports-centered routines.

The comedy night is Friday, September 8, starting at 9.00 pm, and Messy Jessy’s is at 212 S. 1st in Aberdeen. Organizers of events like this can use poster printing to create advertising for the event.
