Comedy returns to Aberdeen

It’s time for another comedy night in Aberdeen.

This time, Messy Jessy’s will welcome Jeremiah Hughes as the event host, with Josh Firestine headlining the evening and comedians Jess Everett and Crispin Melchor rounding out the bill.

Hughes is based in Tacoma and performs throughout the local area. His motto is “We goof HARD,” and he is the host of the “Wired and Weird” podcast.

Jess Everett is the featured performer, and has performed in theaters and clubs throughout the country. He won the Tacoma Comedy Club’s “Voice” competition in 2022, and has won “Roastamania” five times. He also won the “Olympia’s Funniest Comic” competition, the first and only time the contest was held.

Crispin Melchor is a special guest. An up-and-coming artist, he has performed hosting duties at A Street Pub in Auburn, Washington.

Headliner Josh Firestine has performed throughout the country at various comedy clubs. A native of San Diego, he wound up in Tacoma in 2008 after serving in the Army, including three tours supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. His routine takes a light-hearted look at ordinary life, informed by his experiences as a veteran, father, and husband. He is the co-host of a podcast called “Roastbusters,” and created a monthly roast battle called “Roastamania.”

The funnymen will be at Messy Jessy’s on October 13, a Friday, which seems appropriate for Halloween. Organizers of events like this can use poster printing to create colorful Posters listing all the performers.
