Comedy on tap in Aberdeen

A night of laughter is on the agenda in Aberdeen.

The Aberdeen Elks Lodge is hosting a comedy night, featuring stand up comedians who are sure to make the audience laugh. Nolan Culver is the host for the evening, and Joey Cruz is the headliner.

Joey Cruz is from the Seattle area, and began his career seven years ago. His performances mix working on his own baggage with his anger at the ordinary, spiced with absurd story telling. He has appeared at comedy clubs throughout the nation including the Hollywood Improve and The World Famous Comedy Store. He has been on stage with comedians like Whitney Cummings and Marlon Waynes, and has appeared on NBC’s Evening Magazine.

The host of the show, Nolan Culver, is a comedian, actor, and writer from Seattle. He performs regularly at the Hollywood Improv, and has appeared on “American Housewife” on ABC. Events like this are often effectively advertised by organizers who may work with printers who use poster printing to create publicity items.

The show is set for August 10, at 8.00 pm, at the Elks Lodge at 1712 South Boone Street. Tickets for reserved seats are $20 online and $25 on the night of the show, and purchasing them guarantees a seat. The club notes that comedians often use humor to tackle sensitive subjects, and suggests the show is best suited to those over 21.
