Comedian popping up in Aberdeen

A comedian who has won praise from others in his field is coming to Aberdeen, as part of a pop-up event.

Harvey's All-Star Comedy is bringing Andrew Rivers to the Driftwood Theater for an evening of fun. Rivers, who opens regularly for Christopher Titus, has toured throughout Europe and North America with Steve Hofstetter. He has also appeared with Craig Ferguson on the Joy Podcast. Rivers’ style is fun and highly personal, including anecdotes about dentists, and his relatability, combined with his outstanding work ethic, have won him many fans.

Rivers has garnered millions of online views for his comedy specials, done with Dry Bar Comedy and other media platforms. His works include 2018’s “Gun Enthusiasts Aren’t Funny, handed by Dry Bar; “For the Wrong Reasons from 2021, and 2024’s “Hello, Beautiful, both on 800 Pound Gorilla.

Rivers is part of Harvey’s All-Star Comedy, which treats these performances like pop-up events (the show is also known as Harvey’s Pop-Up Comedy). The shows literally pop up in unique venues throughout Washington and Oregon, including wineries and sports bars, and during late-night hangouts and brunches.

This show is an evening performance, taking place on July 18, from 7.00 pm until 9.00 pm. The theater is at 120 East Third Street in Aberdeen. Colorful Posters are often used to advertise events like this, which organizers will find at Print shops.
