The holidays are approaching faster than ever, and so are the fun events that characterize this time of year. In Aberdeen, a special bingo game has been announced to take place.
The Aberdeen American Legion is hosting the upcoming Christmas Bingo. The ever-popular game will be played at the Legion post at 112 West First Street.
Prizes for this event are gift cards, and the overall winner will be able to choose the Christmas stocking they prefer, which will have a gift card inside. If there are multiple winners, they will draw for the high card, and the person who wins that draw will be able to choose their stocking.
The other winners will be able to choose their gift from those displayed on a second-chance table. A 50/50 raffle is also planned, with half the proceeds going to the winner, and the other half to a local charity.
The fee for playing regular bingo is $1, and these games will be played using hard cards. As the name implies, the cards are hard, usually laminated, and can be reused many times. For $2, people have a chance to play blackout bingo. The goal here is to cover the entire card (blackout) as quickly as possible.
Christmas Bingo is scheduled for December 2, and is a family-friendly event. Organizers of events like this can use banner printing to create seasonal decorations for the venue.
