Aberdeen residents who would like to develop a new career in the transportation construction industry may want to register for a course that will allow them to work as a flagger.
The training course will equip learners with knowledge and skills they will be able to use to keep their road work crew safe, and it is open to anyone who is at least 18 years old. Those who completed the training will be certified for three years, and this will be a qualification recognized in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana.
The tuition provided will allow the participants to control traffic effectively and safely. They will learn how to direct vehicles consistently. The most up-to-date laws and regulations will be covered, and the session will run throughout the day. Grays Harbor College will serve as the venue for the activity.
Training like this ensures that everyone who works in a particular profession will follow the same procedures, and these standards may be effectively taught using textbooks and other materials prepared by a printing services company in the area.
The Flagger Certification Class will be offered on Saturday, October 9. Everyone is asked to be on site by 7:45 am, and anyone who arrives after 8:00 am will not be permitted to enter. The registration fee is $65.
