Winter tours head through Vermont

Colchester and surrounding communities will have the opportunity to participate in the Vermont Winter Merriment tours beginning in November.

The tours originate in Manchester and neighboring communities are invited to attend. Locals and visitors who wish to spend a day or two visiting everything the state and its cities have to offer can register to participate in the tours.

Participants will travel in a 10-passenger tour van or bus for larger groups, or in SUVs for two or three people. The tours will guide guests through sweeping mountains with magnificent valley overlooks. Passengers will pass through villages and explore international woodworking facilities, an abandoned marble quarry, and a kitchen store.

An antique covered bridge, along with a visit to a country store selling unique local products, are parts of the tour. Tour guides will present interesting facts, history, and local stories for each area.

Promoting tours and related activities is effectively accomplished by using Flyers. Flyer printing can be handled by local Print shops, and these can then be mailed to specific databases or placed in strategic locations.

The Vermont Winter Merriment tours will begin November 24 and take place through February 27, 2021. They begin at 1:00 pm and conclude at approximately 3:15 pm. The ticket price is $35 per person and the tours are suitable for teenagers and adults.
