The Grossman Dean’s Cup, a one-day business event, provides a competition for undergraduate students. The program began in 2018 and is in its third year. Eligible Colchester students attending UVM will be cheered on by families and friends for this high-level competitive educational event.
Applying skills from both job experiences and university school curriculum is the basis of the case competition. A maximum of four students per team will compete against each other presenting an assigned business case. A total of $500 in prizes for first and second place groups will be awarded at the conclusion.
All UVM undergraduate students may participate. Using staggered intervals, participants will be given the case throughout the morning. They will compete in front of a panel of judges comprising university professors and business leaders from the community.
Brochure printing is often a best practice used for the promotion of academic events. Print shops can handle the project as they will include images, text, logos, and contact information. Brochures can be mailed or distributed throughout an area to communicate the activity and increase awareness and attendance.
The 2020 Grossman Dean’s Cup will take place on February 15 at Kalkin Hall on campus located at 55 Colchester Avenue. The program will begin at 9:00 am. Applications are available online and may be submitted when meeting established requirements.
