Trade show highlights manufacturing in Vermont

The Manufactured in Vermont Supply Chain Conference and Trade Show is taking place next month in nearby Essex Junction.

Presented by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, this event is aimed at buyers and suppliers, decision makers and those looking for a new job in the manufacturing industry. The conference part of the show will include seminars on topics such as doing business with the Defense Logistic Agency and getting help from the Vermont Economic Development Authority. Those who will be exhibiting at the trade show will have access to business-to-business meetings for supply chain matchmaking with contractors. There will also be a lunch break for networking between exhibitors, suppliers and the general public.

There is room for 100 exhibitors at the trade show and spaces are for Vermont Chamber of Commerce members only. The fee is $500 for a 10 x 10 space; this fee also includes the one-on-one matchmaking meetings.

There will likely be plenty of paperwork handed out by exhibitors, who will probably come from all over the area, including Hinesburg, to those who ask for information. This may be provided by local Stationery printers.
