Summit offers new networking opportunities

The 3rd annual Small Biz VT Summit is taking place next month in Burlington. It is presented by the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Attendees will learn about the many openings available to owners of small businesses in the area, discover techniques in starting their own business, or find out about all of the latest services and products to help make their job easier. It is also a chance for current small businesses to showcase their merchandise or services.

All of those who attend will be entered into a draw for the Starting a Startup Entrepreneur Certificate Series. This consists of a 20-module e-learning course that retails for $299.95.

Organizers are still accepting applications from exhibitors until the day of the event. Booths cost $375 for Chamber members and $425 for nonmembers.

This is an important networking opportunity for small company owners from communities in the area, like Hinesburg. It is likely that many attending will be placing a new business card printing order in advance to ensure they have enough cards, and that their contact information is current.
