The Vermont Youth Orchestra Association will present the next in the children’s Rug Concert series for the youngest of the concert attendees.
The Rug Concert series introduces young children to music, instruments and singers. The setting is friendly and comfortable. Classical music is introduced, explained and performed in a 45-minute time slot.
Each concert includes a few different singers and instrumentalists who talk about their art before performing. After the concert, children have the opportunity to meet the professionals, ask questions and learn more about what they do.
Adults are encouraged to introduce the two songs, “The Hello Song” and “The Goodbye Song” to children before attending the Rug Concerts. These two songs will be played at the event with the audience being invited to join in for a fun and upbeat experience.
Brochure printing is often a project contracted with a local printing service for musical events of this type. Brochures can include images and text describing and promoting performances or shows along with show dates and contact information to purchase tickets.
The Rug Concert series are held at the Elley-Long Music Center at St. Michael’s College located at 223 Ethan Allen Avenue. The next concert will take place March 14. Seating is limited so the event organizers encourage early purchase of tickets. Ticket pricing is $5 for children and $10 for adults. More information and ticket purchase is available on the event website.
