The Kidsafe Collaborative's 27th annual Outstanding Services Awards luncheon is taking place next month.
The emcee for this event will be Dr. Lewis First of the University of Vermont Children's Hospital. The awards to be handed out include Promising Professional, Children's Advocacy, Volunteer, and Outstanding Collaboration. The Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to Toki Ely, and Linda Johnson of Prevent Child Abuse Vermont will be singled out for special recognition.
In addition to lunch, there will be door prizes, raffles, and live and silent auctions. This will also be a networking opportunity for those who work with children in the area. It will be a good chance for relationships to be started in order to improve the lives of abused children.
The KidSafe Collaborative brings various community groups, government agencies and people together to prevent child abuse and to educate the public.
Many of those attending from surrounding areas such as Hinesburg may be contacting their local business card printing company to place a new order. They will want to ensure their contact information is current and correct.
