Hoppy event in Colchesters schedule

A fun time for everyone is coming up in Colchester, as spring approaches and the cuddly Easter Bunny makes an appearance.

Mr. Bunny will be on hand for an Easter egg hunt to be held at Bayside Park. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets or Bags to hold the eggs and other goodies they collect, as these items will not be provided. They are also advised to dress appropriately and with changeable weather in mind.

The locations where children will be allowed to hunt for eggs will depend upon their ages. The Lower Bayside Park will be open to children four years of age and under, while those ages five through eight will be able to hunt for eggs in the Upper Bayside Park.

Further directions ask participants to park at Colchester High School and use the road off Laker Lane near the softball field to get to the park.

A food drive hosted by the Colchester Lions Club is also part of the Easter Egg Hunt. The Lions are asking everyone who attends the Egg Hunt to bring a minimum of one canned or non-perishable item with them. The food drive is to help the Colchester Community Food Shelf.

The Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for April 16, beginning at 10:00 am. Organizers of events like this can successfully use banner printing to create signage for the venue.
