The 37th annual Middlebury Summer Festival on the Green is taking place this July for six days.
This has been voted Vermont's Favorite Festival in past years.
The event comprises six days of musical performances by artists from Vermont and the rest of the country. There will be Brown Bag specials each day, from noon until 1:00pm and evening performances every night at 7:00pm.
Among the performers taking part in the festival this year are Caroline Rose, Caitlin Canty, The Bluegrass Gospel Project, and Tom Verner.
People are advised to bring their own blankets to enjoy the performances.
The event will finish off with a Big Band Street Dance, and Jim Condon will be giving free dance lessons to those who arrive early.
Ice cream, hot dogs, and snacks will be sold by the Middlebury Regional EMS, and more substantial meals will be served by Vermont Homegrown Fair.
Raffle tickets are also for sale for $5 each, or $10 for three. Proceeds go to support future festivals.
Visitors may decide to visit from all over the area, including nearby Hinesburg. Organizers may distribute Flyers and other materials to advertise the schedule.
