The 4th of July Celebration taking place in Colchester will feature all kinds of activities suitable for people of all ages.
The daylong event will start off with a 5K Fun Run at 8:15 AM at Union Memorial School. Participants will receive light refreshments after the run. Finisher medals will be awarded to the top male, female, and youth.
Next up is the July 4th Parade at 11:00 AM. It will feature the usual floats, marchers and patriotic music. Beginning at Colchester High School, it will then travel down Blakely Road to Lavigne Road.
From 10:00 AM, Bayside Beach will be hosting several activities, including paddle sports and the inflatable water park. Tickets for the park are $5 each.
Later on in the afternoon, the celebration will travel to Bayside Park. There will be lots of inflatables for the kids to enjoy, and musical entertainment from The Hitmen. Vendors will also be on hand to sell food, drink, and glowsticks.
The day will finish off with a fireworks display at dusk at Bayside Softball Field. Colchester flyer printing companies are often asked to help spread the word about events like this.
