The Colchester Summer Concert Series is returning to the area starting in July. The family-friendly concerts are a summer tradition for locals and visitors.
The concerts take place at Lower Bayside Park on the beach side, with the Malletts Bay serving as a backdrop. Concertgoers bring their blankets, picnics and lawn chairs as they enjoy a warm summer evening musical experience.
On July 15, Quadra will perform. The rock and roll band, consisting of brothers, has been entertaining for over 38 years, playing eclectic. The genre runs the gamut from the ‘70s through the ‘90s.
The Chad Hollister Quartet will appear on July 29. The four-piece band has been an opening act for such names as Paul Simon, Tom Petty, and Bob Dylan over the years. They have also been onstage with ZZ Top, Billy Gibbons, and Warren Haynes. Hollister was recognized by Billboard magazine as a classic American artist and a serious rocker. His soul, energy and positive attitude entertains the audience.
Banners often serve as visible signage to depict specific locations or provide information. They can be hung across buildings or between pillars, trees, or poles. Banner printing is available in a multitude of colors and designs through local Print shops.
All concerts will begin at 7:00 pm. Admission is free, and parking is available at the Bayside Park.
